Satomo Appears
I’ve been friends with Seto Kaiba’s grandson for a long time. Lucky for me Seto Kaiba was still alive. He also still has his Egyptian God card. The card he owned was Obelisk the Tormentor. For some rare reason he never really treated me like dirt. But when the subject of my grandfather appeared he wasn’t as friendly.
Anyways nothing really appeared to make the spirit of the puzzle come out. I felt different since I got that puzzle. I get confident and braver. But I couldn’t help wondering what Satomo was up to. But back to the story. The grandson of Seto is Noah. He was named Noah after Kaiba’s son heard of his lost uncle Noah.
Noah and I are good friends. He’s the one who taught the me basics of Duel Monsters. He even helped me construct a new deck for myself. It now looks like a replica of my late grandpa’s. Noah, like his grandfather is a gaming prodigy. He knows tactics for all games. He is even going to become heir to Kaiba Corporation. Noah has even made his own virtual platform. A new project he is working on is an upgraded version of his grandfather’s duel disk.
I told Noah about the video and that sparked something in him that made him want to help me. He told me that if there is a Satomo Inutsar than he might be in his grandfather’s duelist data bank. Sure enough thanks to Noah we found him.
“Well according to this he is an expert duelist in Egypt,” Noah told me, “Look at this!,” Noah yelled out while pointing at a section on the computer screen., “ It looks like a Millennium Item!” as he finish the spirit in the puzzle, Yami , appeared.
“Antonio, that is definitely Marik’s decedent. I’ve only know Marik and Kaiba to have that item! But I know that Marik still had it. The Millennium Rod! Listen well Antonio! If that is Marik’s grandson there is no way we can take him lightly. His grandfather was psychotic and I believe he could be too!,” Yami said with a slight worry in his voice.
“But… We can beat him ,right?,” I asked. “You beat his grandfather. You can beat him ,right?” He turned away.
"I’m not going to lie to you…,” he said ,“ He was the hardest foe I’ve ever faced. A second time all we can do is hope we can.” I didn’t understand at the time why he was so worried. I felt that beating him again was going to take everything I had. I knew this was the first step in my legacy. Later that day I found out about Satomo’s evil. I was walking back home when suddenly a thick black mist began to surround me. Everything went black for a moment then he appeared.
I couldn’t believe he was right there in front of me. He then said,“ Face me you insolent fool! This is a test! This is only apportion of my skills!” I couldn’t stand there listening to him. I took out my duel disk and my deck and the duel began!!
"How many life points fool?” he said in a cold dark voice.
“I don’t care! It won’t make a difference! I’ll still defeat you!,” as I said that I couldn’t believe those were my word. I felt confident. I was one of the best in Japan. Why wouldn’t I be able to defeat him? I knew I could beat him but that say I learned something.
“Fine,” He said ,“2000 life points! Of course it will be so easy to defeat you!,” He stopped to his five card and continued, “I go first!” He examined his hand for a moment and smirked. “ I summon the Gemini Elf! In attack mode! And I place one cards face down. “Go!,” his eyes gleamed an evil red. “Just so you know it’s a Shadow Duel! The Stakes of the game is a close friend!!
